摘要
Perovskite nanostructures with various morphologies have designated encouraging shape-dependent characteristics. Metal-halide perovskite nanostructures have appeared as cost-effective, efficient, light-active substances for photocatalytic purposes. The photocatalytic process is an environmentally-friendly procedure that became known as an encouraging option for the destruction of various toxic contaminants. The shortcomings of the current photocatalytic system, which restricts their technical applications incorporate fast charge recombination, low-utilization of visible radiation, and low immigration capability of the photo-induced electronhole. In this research, Cesium lead iodide (CsPbI3) perovskite nanostructures have been prepared via the hydrothermal method. The impact of multiple factors, including molar ratios of precursors, different types of capping agents, reaction time, and reaction temperature was studied on purity, morphology, and particle size of nanostructures. The photocatalytic behavior of the CsPbI3 nanostructures was studied for the destruction of organic dyes under visible light and indicated that these nanoparticles could remove and degrade organic pollutants in high value. The highest efficiency was observed in the presence of methyl violet, with a decolorization percentage of 81.7%. The results indicated that the CsPbI3 perovskite nanostructures could be used as high-performance catalysts for water pollution removal. Besides, the antibacterial results showed that the maximum antibacterial activity was against Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Escherichia coli and Streptococcus pyogenes.
