In this paper, the daily solar radiation and meteorological parameters such as temperature, dew point temperature, relative humidity, rainfall and wind speed were analyzed for the period of one year (2014) data-set for Dehradun, India. The maximum values of temperature, wind speed and relative humidity, ranging from 35 similar to 39 degrees C, 3 similar to 4 m/s and 55 similar to 70 % were found in monsoon months. The maximum value of rainfall (46.30 mm) was recorded on 21 June 2014. The statistical parameters such as standard deviation, kurtosis and skewness were calculated to check the normality of used data set. Regression and correlation analysis was also used to model the relationship between daily solar radiation and meteorological parameters.
