摘要：

In this work we propose a person specific document image retrieval system based on face images. Face images are extracted from all the documents and the document labels are tagged to die face images. We created synthetic documents, borrowing face images from ORL [7] face database. Experimental results based on Principal component analysis have revealed an improvement in retrieval time without any compromise in accuracy. This work address an important requirement in case of business and legal document image management system.
