摘要
The process of economic integration occurring as a result of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has created a ne v migratory dynamic between Mexico and the United States. Under the aegis of neoliberalism, the Mexican workforce is being called upon to play a crucial role in the industrial restructuring of the United States and thus creates obstacles for development in Mexico. In the face of this reality, the migrant community is generating new social actors and alternative paths that, though incipient, begin to challenge this model of integration.
