摘要
The emergence of new type of sensors and surveillance devices, such as drones (unmanned aerial vehicles - UAV), combined with the need to migrate to interoperable and cross-border solutions for wide area surveillance (WAS), represents an opportunity to rethink previously separated cyber and physical security systems and to built-in cybersecurity capabilities into WAS. In this paper we present a preliminary ideas on how the multi-agent architecture originaly proposed for ZONeSEC project can be extended and applied also to cyber-security components in order to address challenges such as cost, complexity or difficulty to coordinate activities in distributed settings, such as cross-border surveillance operations.
