摘要
This paper presents a model of competences required of a sales professional in the work environment of the future. The data were gathered in a Finnish higher education institution during a foresight process that involved both company representatives and higher education professionals. The results of the study reflect the needs for sales competences in the Finnish workplace and highlight the importance of orchestration, co-creation and self-leadership as essential competences of a professional salesperson in the future. The suggested competence model can be utilized by business schools as well as by developers in companies.
