摘要
For the effective operation of series input modular systems, it is essential to maintain input voltage sharing (IVS) or keep output voltages/currents constant (OVC/OCC). This paper investigates the steady state performance of the series input multiple outputs (SIMO) system. Based on small signal analysis, the inherent instability mechanism of OVC/OCC control strategies is revealed. Since ensuring IVS can lead to stable operation for SIMO system, the stable prerequisites of IVS control strategies are proposed. And based on the stable prerequisites, stability criterions about IVS control strategies are given which can be used as the design guideline of the IVS control strategies. Based on the stability criterions, a new control strategy is proposed and a SIMO experimental prototype is built to validate the conclusions and the stability theories.
