摘要
From The Song of Innocence to The Song of Experience, William Blake, by way of Philosophical topics and theological language, profoundly expresses his concern about the opposites of man, nature and the society. Imagination and symbolism ate his methods. to tell us the dialectical relationship between man and nature. "Nature is imagination itself," "To see the world in a grain of sand" and "without contraries there is no progression" are the essence of Blake's dialectical principles' of nature, man and society. The creation of both "Lamb" and "Tiger" fully embodies Blake's idea about the law of unify of opposites in the universe, which shows hi's aspiration for the. integrity and harmony of human relationship to society and nature.
