摘要
Accurate load modeling has been a challenging problem of modern power system to be solved. To overcome the time-varying characteristics of power system loads, one of the effective approaches is to employ Interactive Multiple Model algorithm for load modeling. The purpose of this paper is to select a best model set for Interacting Multiple Load Modeling. The process of load model selection involves four steps: model set determination, model set initialization, state estimation and best model set determination. In terms of the errors between the actual system and load models, the Normalized Innovation Square Sum of each model is calculated, thus building the model selection mechanism. The effectiveness of the proposed load model selection rule is validated by numerical simulations.
