摘要
The Zr-89 radioisotope is used in the field of tumor diagnostics, tumor therapy and the investigation of the bio-kinetic. The present work is investigated a suitable reaction to produce Zr-89. The Zirconium-89 excitation function via Y-89(p,n)(89)zr, Y-89(d,2n)Zr-89, Zr-nat(p,pxn)Zr-89, Sr-nat(alpha,xn)Zr-89 and Zr-90(n,2n)Zr-89 reactions were calculated by ALICE-91 and TALYS-1.0 codes and the reaction of Y-89(p,n)Zr-89 has been selected. The calculated excitation function of Y-89(p,n)Zr-89 reaction was compared with the reported measurement and evaluations. Requisite thickness of targets was obtained by SRIM code for all above reactions except the Zr-90(n,2n)Zr-89 reaction. The Zr-89 production yield was evaluated with attention to excitation function and stopping power for all above reactions except Zr-90(n,2n)Zr-89 reaction.
