RSSI-Based Indoor Location with Circularly Polarized Antennas and LUDM Algorithm for Wireless Sensor Network

摘要
The received signal strength indicator(RSSI) value usually shows bad stability in indoor environment because of some factors such as multipath effect. The accuracy of indoor location methods based on RSSI is not easy to improve. In this paper, a method is presented for indoor location of unknown nodes for wireless sensor networks(WSN), with circularly polarized(CP) antennas and localization using uncertain data mapping(LUDM) algorithm. CP antennas are used for relieving the multipath effect and LUDM algorithm shows excellent performance in reducing the data uncertainty. At last, an experiment is carried out and the testing accuracy of this method is 0.006m.
