摘要
In this paper, a squirrel cage six-phase induction generator (SC6PIG) model based on the so-called circuit-oriented approach suitable for simulation of electrical faults is presented. The proposed generator prototype, appropriate for grid connected multiphase wind energy conversion system, is composed of a low speed 24kW SC6PIG prototype connected to a full scale back-to-back converter structure. The aim is to develop a model for the simulation of this machine in the healthy and faulty mode. The circuit-oriented approach chosen, represent the SC6PIG model as a rotating electrical circuit. The developed model allows the dynamic simulation of a large scale of electrical faults (the open stator phase, the inter-turn short circuit in the stator, the rotor bar faults and the end-ring faults) of the machine, only by a switch commutation. The model is appropriate for control technics implementation by using adapted power electronics converters. The performances of the developed model have been analyzed in no-load and rated load conditions. Currents control technique was used to prove the capabilities of the model. The proposed control method and generator model have been simulated in Matlab/Simulink (R) environment and validated by experimental tests on a 24kW-230V-24poles SC6PIG for different power generation working points.
