摘要
In VDU work today, both lighting and glasses should be treated as dynamic tools, i.e. they should be specifically adapted to temporal and spatial working conditions. The importance of and need for a specific workplace analysis is explained in order to establish the parameters required to produce individual glasses for the workplace. In addition to a test of visual function for the VDU workplace which must meet statutory requirements, a thorough refraction test must be performed comprising data on maximum accommodation and a check of binocularity status. To achieve this, diagrams were developed that help bridge the gap between, on the one hand, the analysis of work and the workplace and, on the other hand, the assessment of binocular vision throughout the day. This mode of representation converts distance, light intensities, direction of gaze and temporal relationships into a form which can be understood by the works doctors, ophthalmologists, ergonomists, lighting specialists, and optometrists. In this way, workplace and lighting design can be harmonised with the right glasses in a way which makes sense to everyone.
