摘要：

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between marital satisfaction and personality dimensions (neuroticism, extraversion, openness, agreeableness and consciousness) in the academic married students. For this purpose, this research was following a descriptive-correlation design. 70 married students (35 couples) were selected asked to complete the NEO Five Factor Inventory (NEO-FFI) and Marital Satisfaction Inventory (ENRICH). Results indicated that neuroticism dimension is a power predictive of marital satisfaction and there is a significant negative relationship between neuroticism and marital satisfaction. The result of this study indicated that Neuroticism leading to marital dissatisfaction. (C) 2013 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.
