摘要：

Eirmotus octozona is redescribed and three new species are described: E. isthmus from the Batang Hari drainage (Sumatra) and the Mentaya drainage (Central Kalimantan, Bomeo), E. furvus from the Batang Hari drainage (Sumatra), and E. insignis from the Kapuas basin (West Kalimantan, Borneo). The four species are distinguished by details of the colour pattern, serration on last simple dorsal-fin ray, shape of snout and lower jaw.
