摘要
A wide variety of dental devices are applied in oral cavity for different clinical aims. Restorative dental materials are required to have long-term durabilitil in the oral cavity, which is a complex environment where. denial materials are in contact with many different chemical media. The corrosion resistance and biocompatibility of commercial dental alloys have been investigated. Five dental alloys: Gold, Palliag, Gaudent, Verasoft, and Amalgam were surveyed. We appreciate the dental alloys behaviour by measuring the corrosion potential, The experimental medium was represented by three different artificial saliva: Afnor, Fusayama Meyer and Rondelli. The results showed that Amalgam had the highest corrosion potential and Rondelli saliva represented the highest corrosive medium.
