摘要
This study was undertaken to identify the roles and responsibilities of supervisors during teaching practice. It also attempts to obtain information on how teaching practice is carried out at Universiti Putra Malaysia and Universiti Malaya. In addition it also examines the process of classroom observation practice in Sultan Idris University of Education which has some shortcomings. Based on the need for a better relationship between the supervisors and trainee teachers, it proposes a 'new' instrument. The 'new' instrument has a focused item and encourages the supervisors and the trainee teachers to collaborate as partners in classroom observations.
