摘要：

An ultra-wideband antenna with band-notch for 5.8 GHz WLAN is proposed. The antenna is composed of two slots called the main slot and the sub-slot. The main slot has a hybrid shape of a rectangle connected to a half circle. The subslot has a rectangular shape. The two slots are fed by a bent shaped strip. The antenna has a compact size of 18 mmx 22 mm. The measured -10 dB frequency band of the proposed antenna is 3-4.4 and 6.1-10.9 GHz with 4.4-6.1 GHz filtered out.
