摘要
The purpose of the study is to assess organizational commitment and turnover intentions among public and private sector employees in Pakistan. The study examines the attitudinal differences among organizations. The attitudinal variable is organizational commitment and behavioral variable is turnover intention. The primary data was collected from Pakistan renowned organizations, which included Pakistan Railways, PIA, WAPDA, PTCL, and Attack Refinery. The major findings are: (a) there is no significant difference in organizational commitment of both sectors, (b) the organizational commitment is high among male employees than female in private sector, (c) there is no significant difference in organizational commitment of public sector employees, (d) turnover intentions are high in private sector as compared to public sector in Pakistan, (e) there is no significant difference among male and female turnover intentions in both sectors.
