摘要
By using quartz crystal microbalance (QCM) the influence of NaCl deposition on atmospheric corrosion of zinc in the presence of 1 x 10(-6) SO2 was studied. Regularity of initial atmospheric corrosion of zinc under this condition was analyzed in detail and an empiric formula, Deltam/A K(t/t(tot))(b), obtained. The relationship between mass gain of zinc and amount of NaCl deposition is linear at any time. More amount of NaCl deposition can slow down the corrosion of zinc to some extent after six to ten hours' exposure in atmospheric environment containing 1 x 10(-6) SO2. Corrosion products of zinc surface were analyzed using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and infrared spectroscopy (IR), in which Zn4SO4(OH)(6). 5H(2)O was identified.
