FEM Analysis on Shear Buckling Behaviour of Imperfect Layered Composite Plates

摘要
Study on the buckling behavior analysis of a clamped, composite laminated quadratic plate under shear inplane loading is presented. The imperfection, considered as an initial deformation due to the manufacturing operations, has the cosine shape in both directions (the initial deformation mode appears in the form of the fundamental mode of the buckling or vibration). The loading is considered as an uniform shear pressure on the plate sides. Maximum initial deformation magnitude is considered as a rate from the thickness. Variation of the maximum transverse displacement versus the in-plane load (displacement controlled after nonlinear buckling analysis) for three cases is presented.
