摘要
In the active area of biomaterials, ceramics are very important due to their bioactivity and mechanical properties. However, their preparation requires conditions of high pression and temperature, Thus, initial mixtures with temperature sensitive substances such as biological and pharmaceutical ones is made extremely challenging if not impossible. In our work, we have developed a new method for ceramics synthesis [6]. This method could be used to meet the above challenge and applied still in many other areas. It is based on hydrothermal processing. A powder mixture of m ineral or mineral/organic substances is molded and packed under pressure, and transformed at low temperatures (between room temperature and 60 C) and controlled relatively high moisture. In this process, phase composition, time, temperature and vapor pressure in the reactor all affect the variation of phases, mechanical properties and system's porosity.
