摘要:
The Cover Featureillustrates a new potentiality of vacuum electrochemistry approach to investigate well-defined ionic liquid/oxide interfaces when vacuum electrochemistry meets pulsed laser deposition (PLD). The electric double layer (EDL) capacitance of ionic liquid is carefully investigated under vacuum for oxide electrodes of not only single-crystal SrTiO3, but also the subsequently PLD-grown SrO and anatase TiO(2)epitaxial films. The direct comparison of these EDL capacitance values allows us to find out that the EDL capacitance is quite sensitive to the kinds of oxide interfaces; the ionicity of the oxides is proposed as a possible key to the interpretation of the present finding.
