The introduction of the Calman proposals for radical reform of the training of young doctors is now nearly 3 years past. Obstetrics and gynaecology was one of the first major specialties to go through the convulsions of transition and it has emerged on the ether side well organized and in tune with the requirements of the reforms, but just how are they perceived by the trainees and trainers?
