Influence of laser treatment on martensitic transformation characteristics in Fe-Ni alloys

摘要
Using the x-ray method on single crystal specimens: it was found that the laser treatment of metastable austenitic Fe-Ni alloys led to change of martensitic transformation characteristics during subsequent cooling in liquid nitrogen. The laser heating of Fe-29%Ni-1.9%Ti-2%Al alloy in austenitic state before martensitic transformation led to increase of martensite tetragonality obtained, at subsequent liquid nitrogen cooling, The laser treatment of quenched alloy led to decreasing of it tetragonality.
