Preparation and Photoactivity of Metalloporphyrin/Pycarbox/TiO2 Photocatalysts

摘要
Tetraphenyl porphyrin (H2TPP) and its corresponding copper and zinc complexes, copper tetraphenyl porphyrin (CuTPP) and zinc tetraphenyl porphyrin (ZnTPP) were synthesized. Moreover, the single crystal of [Zn(TPP)(DMF)] was obtained. Metalloporphyrin/Pycarbox/TiO2 photocatalysts were prepared by impregnating TiO2 with CuTPP (or ZnTPP) and Pycarbox in the mixture of dichloromethane and ethanol. The photocatalytic activity of these composites have been investigated by accomplishing the photodegradation of 4-nitrophenol in aqueous solution under UV-Visible light. The photocatalysts were characterized by FTIR spectra and X-ray diffraction (XRD). The result indicated that metalloporphyrins and Pycarbox were successfully loaded and interacted with the surface of TiO2, the photocatalytic efficiency of these composites have been improved.
