摘要
The present power system structures was not planned and implemented for large scale weather dependent renewable generation. The wind technology is cleared but a lot of problems are caused by the poorly forecasted wind run (e.g. lack of control capacities, expensive control, etc.). There are a lot of rumors why not to use the wind energy but there are many technical solutions that foster it. The paper summarizes the role of the pumped storage plants, hydro plants, sudden stop of wind power plants, the forecast basics. Finally we present solutions that make flexible the network (Search for the non controlled capacities, co-control with gas engines, smart grid, Demand Side Management, online control of the wind towers, Intraday power exchange, etc.)
