A 2-D CdI2 coordination network with 7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]-5-heptene-2,3-dicarboxylate: synthesis, crystal structure, and luminescent properties

摘要
The in situ reaction of Cd(ClO4)(2)center dot 6H(2)O with 7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]-5-heptene-2,3-dicarboxylic anhydride in the presence of lithium hydroxide affords a 2-D Cd-II coordination polymer, [Cd(L)(H2O)](infinity) (1) (L = 7-oxabicyclo[2.2.1]-5-heptene-2,3-dicarboxylate), which exhibits an unusual (3,6)-connected (4(6)center dot 6(6)center dot 8(3))(4(3))(2) CdI2-type topology. The luminescent and thermal properties of 1 were investigated.
