摘要
One of the most widely used industrial coatings in epoxy surface coatings, which provides excel-lent adhesion and wear resistance when applied to metal surfaces. The erosion behavior of epoxy/ coatings by solid particles impact was investigated. The coating epoxy is equipped with dispers-ing TiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) directly into the epoxy resin. The erosion experiments tested using sand impact with particles sizes 150-300 mu m at jet impingement angles of 30 degrees, 60 degrees and 90 degrees. Pure epoxy coating exhibited maximum erosive rate at 90 degrees jet impingement angle indicating brittle behavior. The results show that the erosion rate was higher when the particles impact with an impingement angle of 60 degrees than at 30 degrees and 90 degrees
