摘要
This work consists of a meta-analysis about the environmental, social and economic impacts of organic agriculture. Articles were selected and collected on the following indexed bases: - Science citation index expanded- Web of science; Agris-agriculture and Scopus (Elsevier), using as search term "impacts of agriculture", after raising these impacts, the management methods presented were compared to reduce the environmental impacts listed in the studies with the management methods used in organic agriculture. The identification of the forms of management adopted in organic agriculture was possible from the analysis of Law 10.831 of 2003 (Law of organic agriculture) and the forms of organic management listed in a scientific study. With this confrontation, it was observed that, as a rule, there is convergence between the forms of management of organic agriculture and the forms identified in the studies as mitigating the impacts of agriculture, which leads to the conclusion that the organic model of agriculture has the ability to reduce negative impacts of agriculture.
