An overview of top quark production measurements using the ATLAS detector at the LHC is presented. Using 35 pb(-1) of data, we measured the t (t) over bar cross-section in the lepton+jets channel to 13% precision and set limits on the cross-section for the all hadronic decay channel[1, 2]. The measurement in the dilepton channel was performed using 0.70 fb(-1) of data and was combined with the lepton+jets channel result for our most precise t (t) over bar cross-section measurement of sigma(pp -> t (t) over bar +X) = 176 +/- 5(stat)(-10)(+13)(syst)+/- 7(lumi)[3, 4]. Single top production was also measured in the t-channel using 0.70 fb(-1) of data[5].
