摘要
A 9-year-old cat was examined because of acute vomiting. A soft tissue mass in the proximal duodenum seen on the ultrasonogram was found at endoscopic examination to be a pyloric polypoid lesion protruding into the duodenal lumen. Endoscopic excision of the polypoid lesion resolved the clinical signs. Histologic findings were consistent with a hyperplastic polyp. The cat was free of clinical signs at 2 years follow-up. This case describes an endoscopic gastric polypectomy in a cat; no complications developed and short and long-term prognosis was excellent.
