Introduction Obstructive sleep apnea syndrome is a common condition that can occur at any age. Although there is an interest in this condition, diagnosing and treating it is a challenge for doctors. The paper aim is to highlight the advantages of surgical treatment in obstructive sleep apnea syndrome. Materials and Methods The diagnosis of the disease was the result of a complete evaluation of polysomnography, imagistic examinations and endoscopy, and it made us choose the surgical option in the management of obstructive sleep apnea syndrome for this type of clinical cases. Results and Conclusions Due to a careful preoperative assessment and to the choice of appropriate surgical techniques, the postoperative results were very good functionally. First-line treatment for obstructive sleep apnea syndrome remains the conservative one, but in patients with mechanical nasal obstruction to which this type of therapy is not applicable, the surgical endoscopic cure should be considered.
