摘要
Regions are facing a huge competition, to attract companies, businesses, inhabitants, students etc. and this way to improve living and business environment, which is rapidly changing due to the impact of digitalization. Good living and business environment are considered to include good working places, governmental services, transportation connections and safe environment. In addition to this, regions and cities need also to improve their imago, which supports the attractiveness of the town or region. In this article, the actions of the town and industry are analyzed. The town is developing its activities according smart industrial specialization by using its strengths, but also adapting new knowhow of digitalization to improve the overall competiveness of industrial environment and town facilities itself. The purpose of this analysis is to identify the elements, which are important for developing the attractiveness of the town in the momentum of the digital change of society in industrial context.
