The article deals with one of the topical issues or the labor market - employment conditions in the Republic of Tuva. The most significant conditions for employment in the region were identified, depending on the gender, age and level of education of the respondents. The results of the survey showed that there is no significant difference in employment conditions depending on gender. Regardless of age and financial situation of the respondents, good professional training, a person's probing abilities, and the help of influential relatives and acquaintances are considered crucial conditions for employment in the Republic. Depending on the nationality of the respondents, there was no significant difference in the terms of employment. The results of the study confirm importance of state strategy aimed at realizing the right of every citizen to education. The high degree of the popular agreement with the statement that one of the most effective ways of employment is through relatives and acquaintances indicates that there is a high probability of corrupt employment schemes in Tuva.
