摘要
This paper describes the typical design of cylindrical annular dielectric resonant antenna (CADRA) using High Frequency Structural Simulator (HFSS). The cylindrical DRA with high permittivity (34.73) is mounted on a grounded substrate with less permittivity operated at 2.24 GHz. With provided specific information necessary for design, advantages of DRA over micro strip patch antenna are simulated from HFSS. Cylindrical annular DRA is functioned with two feeding methods, micro strip feed and coaxial probe feed. Comparisons are made between them from the simulation results, Radiation Pattern, Electric and Magnetic field pattern, 3d Polar plot and Return-Loss.
