摘要
The reaction of [Ru-3(CO)(12)] with 1,4-benzoquinone, in a hydrogen atmosphere led to the formation of a product with the formula [(mu-H)Ru-3(CO)(10)(mu(2)-O-C6H4OH)] which crystallizes with two molecules of free hydroquinone in the asymmetric unit with which it forms an arrangement of hydrogen bridges leading to a layered structure of trinuclear metallic and hydroquinone fragments. Electrochemical studies showed that electrode inhibition is obtained by cycling of the oxidation process of this compound. (C) 2012 Elsevier B. V. All rights reserved.
