摘要：

In recent Years more and more attention has been devoted to international sport competitions. The positive effects of a successful event can be felt not only by the organizing sport association but also by the organizing towns, regions or even countries. The purpose of the study is to define success factors and criteria of international sport events as well as to analyze the intensity of relationships between the Actors and criteria. We apply empirical analysis: questionnaire survey and statistical analyses as well as secondary research to validate the research model. The findings of the study show that not only technical factors play important role in organizing successfull international sport events but also soft factors are essential.
