Geant4 simulation of low energy μSR experiments at PSI

摘要
Using the Monte Carlo toolkit GEANT4 we have simulated a typical low energy mu SR experiment at PSI. The geometry includes the last transport section of the low energy beam line from the muon counter to the sample and the mu SR spectrometer. Histograms characterizing the particle transport, decay spectra and asymmetries are simulated and compared with experimental data. (c) 2005 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
