摘要
This study researched alloyed iron (type Distaloy AE with high nickel content) consolidation by the cold sintering process with the aim to find the fundamental relation between the technology, strukcture and properties. The dependence of the microstructure formation on the pressing conditions and the cold sintering of iron within the pressing range from 4 to 12 GPa was studied in detail. Research of certain phenomenons and process that characterize material consolidation by cold sintering, explanation of their dependence on the material structure was conducted in the aim of creating conditions for synthesis of new materials and products with previously assigned properties. The resulted pressings were subject to the following testing: microstructural (light and scanning microscopy, micro-hardness testing), electrical and mechanical properties.
