摘要
In order to improve the crystal growth, we proposed that a cusp-shaped magnetic field would been applied to the system of detached solidification, and 3D simulation was carried out to predict the melt flow and the temperature fluctuation under the influence of a cusp-magnetic field by the finite-difference method. The simulated results show imposing the cusp magnetic field and increasing the gap width are effective measurements to suppress the melt convection in detached solidification, particularly in microgravity.
