摘要
We investigate iterative receive algorithms for orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) transmission affected by clipping at the transmit power amplifier (PA). One algorithm aims at minimizing the Euclidean distance to the received sequence, while the other reconstructs the clipping noise. Both methods significantly reduce the BER compared to simple zero forcing, even for severe clipping. The iterative clipping noise correction is also investigated with a 'soft' sequence and a Soft-Input Soft-Output (SISO) decoder with coded OFDM. The gains with a soft sequence are moderate due to burst errors, but the number of iterations can be reduced compared to a correction based on hard decisions.
