摘要
In this paper, preliminary results for the feasibility of an Active Vibration Control scheme for vibration suppression of an aluminum plate making use of Fiber Bragg Grating (FBG) as sensors and piezoelectric (PZT) elements as actuators are reported. An aluminum proof in fixed-fixed beam configuration have been provided with four FBGs bonded below the same number of PZT actuators in co-located configuration. A proportional-derivative controller has been used to generate the command signals required to drive the actuators. Preliminary results of "open loop" and "closed loop" configuration tests are reported demonstrating the great potentiality of this hybrid system, showing up to 17 dB of noise reduction at 80 Hz for the "closed loop" tests.
