Forest stands precipitation on two monitoring plots (further MP) located in the spruce stands in Vizovicke vrehy Mts were investigated. We intended to show the distribution of the undercrown precipitation caused by different parts of spruce crowns (near to the stem, in the middle, and around the border area of the crown). We were motivated by the fact that drips were higher than free plot precipitation in some cases. Therefore, we did not determine the global quantification of drips. The stemflow, one of the stand precipitation components that influences the soil chemism, especially near to the tree stem was observed, as well. This influence becomes more significant on the slopes known as "aprons". The stemflow was collected by special collecting equipment made of the polyurethane foam.
