Stability analysis of the discrete Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy model

In this paper, we present a new stability criterion to analyze the stability of the discrete TS (Takagi-Sugeno) fuzzy dynamic model by which nonlinear systems can be identified precisely. This proposed stability criterion does not need finding a positive definite matrix solution of Lyapunov equations or a Lyapunov equation such that those recently reported sufficient stability conditions are satisfied for every IF-THEN rule, therefore this stability criterion enables us to check the stability of the discrete TS fuzzy model with less computation. A simple example is included to illustrate an application of the proposed method.
