摘要：

The shore fly genus Setacera is reviewed and shown to contain five species in Russia. Diagnoses of the genus and species are presented, a key to the species also being given. One species, S. trina, is new to the fauna of Russia, while S. aurata which was formerly considered to be a European species has been found in western Siberia for the first time. The Holarctic S. micans, previously recorded from our country in the European part of Russia alone, has been registered also from eastern Siberia and Kamchatka. The distribution area is extended for S. freidbergi as well. In addition to Israel, Iran and Russia (Caucasus), this latter species has been found in Azerbaijan, Turkey and Turkmenistan for the first time.
