摘要
Gleeble-1500 thermal simulator researched the extremely high temperature deformation behavior of Ti-6Al-4V alloy. The maximum deformation degree of alloy was mainly studied at test temperature between 900 degrees C and 1300 degrees C, and at strain rate of 5s(-1), which offers the basis for hot processing technological design. The results show that cracks appear at 1100 degrees C under the condition of 70% deformation, and with temperature increasing, the maximum deformation degree of alloy decreases. At the same time, true stress vs. true strain curves were obtained. Microstructures show that specimens have different types of microstructure in different parts because of non-uniform deformation.
