CuCl/OIH: Synthesis, Characterization and Catalytic Activity in Oxidative Carbonylation of Methanol

摘要
CuCl catalysts anchored on silica-based support were synthesized using gamma-chloropropyltriethoxysilane as spacer, 5-amino-1,10-phenanthroline as organic ligand and TEOS as precursor. The effects of preparation conditions on the synthesis of OIH supported catalyst were investigated. The structure of the supported and the heterogeneous catalyst were characterized by FTIR, EA, TGA and NMR. The catalytic property of CuCl/OIH in the oxidative carbonylation of methanol to dimethyl carbonate(DMC) was studied. The catalyst CuCl/OIH exhibited higher activity and selectivity compared to the CuCl catalysts, the yield of DMC was improved to 25%. After recycling 4 times, Cu diffluent rate in the reaction system was only 2.3%.
