摘要
Simulation of the irregualr objects is a challenging and attractive subject in the field of computer graphics. A variety of fireworks simulation algorithms are introduced, the advantages and disadvantages of various models are analyzed comparatively. And then, the basic principles of particle system modeling and the characteristics of fireworks booming are discussed in depth. With the relevant them; of OpenGL, a firework model, which gives full consideration to the involvement of wind and air resistance, is built on the platform provided by VC++6.0. Finally, various typical fireworks simulated effects are realized and evulated, the advantages and disadvantages of fireworks model are summarized, and the future research prospects are proposed.
