摘要
It is possible to manufacture a double skin structure by applying a die-less shear spinning. A forming process has been proposed to prevent the sheet thickness decreasing in the inner skin by using this forming technique. In this process, materials for both skins can be supplied from the outer flange area by turning over the sheet on the half way of the forming operation. Several forming experiments were planned and carried out for the purpose of applying this method to the air intake lip skins of aircraft jet engine nacelles. (C) 2018 The Authors.
